This week’s MyChelle Real Beauty is Christine Faulisi, who has shared with us some truly inspiring words on the concept of beauty…

“Trying to find one photo to sum up what beauty means to me is difficult, because I find so much in life to be beautiful, and half of that can not be seen by the eye. So I found something that portrays a few things I find beautiful in life combined. Friendship, love, health, and nature. This photograph was taken last summer in the mountains of the Adirondacks. A few new friends of mine and myself were hiking, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and taking in the vast profoundness of the beauty of nature. When we finally conquered the top, it was an experience worth hugging over. It was a bonding experience between me and a few wonderful women with positive energy whom I have become friends with over the past couple years, after letting go of the toxic friends I had in the past. Beauty is trying to be your best at all times in all aspects of life, physical and mental. Taking care of your body is part of loving yourself, and it carries with you to have a healthy mind/body connection, and transfers to the people around you. :-)” ~ Christine Faulisi
